1. About These Terms
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Pasu Collective website at pasucoll.site and the interior design services we offer. By visiting our website or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms.
Pasu Collective is a design studio registered and operating in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Our contact address is 40 Jalan Bukit Pantai, 59100 Kuala Lumpur. You may reach us at [email protected].
2. Our Services
Pasu Collective offers the following interior design services:
- Form & Function Meeting (MYR 460) — An initial consultation including a site assessment, written notes, and a visual reference palette. Delivered within one week.
- Sculpted Interior Design (MYR 3,400) — A full design engagement covering spatial planning, material and furniture selection, colour and lighting, and 3D renders. Includes two revision sessions and a full specification set. Timeline of 6–10 weeks.
- Kiln-to-Completion Support (MYR 1,800) — Project coordination and site management from construction through to final styling. Duration of 8–16 weeks.
Service scope, timelines, and fees are confirmed in a written brief or proposal prior to commencement. Any changes to agreed scope will be discussed and agreed in writing before work proceeds.
3. Engaging Our Services
3.1 Enquiries and Proposals
Submitting an enquiry through our website or contacting us directly does not constitute a binding engagement. A service engagement begins only when both parties have agreed to a written brief or proposal and the applicable fee arrangement has been confirmed.
3.2 Fees and Payment
Fees are as published on our website or as set out in a written proposal. For most engagements, an initial deposit is required before work commences. The balance is due at the stage agreed in the project brief. All fees are quoted in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) and are inclusive of any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
Invoices are payable within 14 days of issue unless otherwise agreed in writing. Late payments may affect project timelines.
3.3 Revisions
The number of revision sessions included in each service is as stated in the service description. Additional revisions beyond those included may be offered at an agreed rate.
4. Client Responsibilities
To allow us to deliver our work effectively, we ask that clients:
- Provide accurate and complete information about the space, project requirements, and any relevant constraints
- Allow reasonable access to the site for the purposes of assessment and measurement
- Review and respond to drafts and proposals within the timeframe agreed at the outset
- Obtain any necessary permissions, consents, or building approvals relevant to their project
Delays caused by a client's failure to meet these responsibilities may affect project timelines. We will communicate proactively if this arises.
5. Intellectual Property
All design drawings, renders, mood boards, material specifications, and other creative work produced by Pasu Collective remain our intellectual property until full payment for the relevant service has been received.
Upon receipt of full payment, Pasu Collective grants the client a non-exclusive licence to use the deliverables for the specific project they were created for. The client may not reproduce, sell, or transfer these deliverables to a third party without our written consent.
We reserve the right to use project images and descriptions for our portfolio, website, and marketing materials, subject to not identifying any personal details about a client without their consent.
6. Cancellations and Refunds
If you wish to cancel an engagement after work has commenced, please notify us in writing as soon as possible. In such cases:
- Work completed up to the point of cancellation will be invoiced at the agreed rate or a pro-rated portion of the project fee, whichever is applicable
- Deposits are non-refundable once a project brief has been agreed and work has begun, unless Pasu Collective is unable to fulfil the engagement for reasons within our control
- Any materials or items ordered specifically for a project at the client's direction are non-refundable once ordered
We understand that circumstances change, and we will always approach these situations with care and good faith.
7. Third-Party Suppliers and Contractors
For Kiln-to-Completion Support engagements, Pasu Collective coordinates with third-party contractors, craftspeople, and suppliers on your behalf. While we exercise care in selecting and working with these parties, we cannot accept liability for delays, defects, or failures attributable to third parties operating independently.
All warranties for materials and construction work are those offered by the relevant supplier or contractor. We will assist you in pursuing any such warranty claims where reasonable.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by Malaysian law, Pasu Collective's liability to a client in connection with any engagement shall not exceed the total fees paid for the relevant service.
We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental losses arising from our services or the use of our website, including but not limited to loss of business, loss of income, or costs incurred through third-party contractors.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, personal injury caused by negligence, or any other matter where limitation is not permitted by law.
9. Website Use
The content on our website is provided for general information and enquiry purposes. While we aim to keep it accurate and up to date, we do not warrant the completeness or current accuracy of any information published here.
You may not use our website for any unlawful purpose, or in any way that disrupts, damages, or impairs its function. Unauthorised use of our website may give rise to a claim for damages.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of our website or services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
